cried a lot yesterday missing my recently deceased friend. Had a dream early this morning where I was hanging out with him, laughing together, and dancing with him. It was beautiful and so much fun; what stands out in my memory is how happy he was. For me it was real. I am grateful for it even if it was too brief.

Ireland’s remote Skellig Michael island
Ireland’s earliest Christians built the monastic complex perched atop the pyramid-shaped island. It was occupied continuously until the 12th century, when weather conditions forced its monastic community to the mainland. Due to its isolation, which has kept visitors away until recently, the complex is very well-preserved.
